Indigenous Ancestral Art Meets Global Stage: Kené Kaya Brings Shipibo-Konibo Culture to Coachella. At the final weekend of Coachella 2025, legendary Peruvian cumbia pioneers Los Mirlos delivered more than a performance—they brought an entire cultural movement to the global stage, dressed in custom wardrobe designed by Alessandra Durand, founder of Kené Kaya, a social enterprise and fashion house rooted in the Amazonian traditions of the Shipibo-Konibo people.
